Yet another wish list, inspired by an intrepid trip to SoHo.
Time for a Betsey break, because what would my wishlist be without it.
Brian Eno’s ‘Oblique Strategies’ 1996 : “In 1975, the celebrated British musician, producer, and visual artist, Brian Eno, together with the late English painter Peter Schmidt, addressed the challenge of breaking out of creative roadblocks by writing a series of evocative phrases they dubbed ‘worthwhile dilemmas.’ ” Available through the Peter Norton Family Christmas Art Projects at MoMA.
ALSO through the same Art Project is the Teacup by Robert Lazzarini, which I’m obsessed with although I’m not sure what I’d do with it. Definitely a conversation piece..
